US healthcare costs can be significant without coverage
Indian health insurance typically does not provide coverage in the US. Without coverage, a single accident or illness could leave you with a bill larger than your entire trip budget.
Thousands of Indian travelers handle this the same way.
They get TripKavach before the flight. If an emergency happens, we coordinate with the hospital, handle the payment, and guide you through every step, any time of day.
Indian health insurance typically does not cover your family while they're in the US. A single emergency room visit could land a bill larger than the whole trip.
This is how Indian families protect their visiting parents.
Buy TripKavach before they fly. If an emergency happens, the plan coordinates with the hospital and helps handle the payment — subject to plan terms.

Common questions
What if my parents have pre-existing medical conditions?
All plans include coverage for pre-existing condition emergencies, from $500 (Ultra) to $6,000 (VIP Plus). This covers unexpected flare-ups and emergencies related to existing conditions. If your parents have chronic conditions, we recommend VIP or VIP Plus for higher limits.
My parents are over 70. Can they still get coverage?
Yes — we cover travelers up to age 84 on daily plans (5–90 days). Most competitors cap at 70 or 75. For extended stays over 60 days, the age limit is 65.
Can I buy this for my parents from the US?
Absolutely. Most of our customers do exactly this. You fill in the trip details and pay from the US. Your parents receive the policy documents by email, and you can forward the traveler guide to them.
